Mayor Dickert has a bad day

JD  Mayor John Dickert

Remember the old saying do not count your Chickens before they hatch?

Well, looks like Racine’s Mayor John Dickert may want to rethink getting $$ from Waukesha sending “Treated” Sewage down the Root River    http://www.jsonline.com/news/waukesha/waukesha-concedes-it-can-meet-deadline-for-radium-free-water-b99393845z1-283255831.html

From this story looking like it will be sometime before the City of Racine sees any money from becoming Waukesha cesspool, as I call it

At one time stories about how The City of Racine would get 6 Million or so a year by being the Cesspool of Waukesha and this money is badly needed in a City with still the highest unemployment rate in the State  one of the few Number one titles that Mayor John Dickert has been able to obtain for The City of Racine.

From Reading this story looks like the City of Racine has a long wait before dime one shows up from the idea of “Treated” Sewage coming down the Root River.

Let the Gold Rush Begin, are you in line yet?

If I understand right our City Fathers will vote on TIF 18 this week it is expected to pass once this is in place will allow, as I understand events, Machinery Row to move further along. At that time we will see some activity take place perhaps even some constriction happen (Or perhaps like Team Porter’s not so much but what did happen to the money spent on parts of team Porter’s…)

As I understand events no force on Earth can stop TIF 18 too many have too much riding on this Gold Rush such as:

If the Condos get going who will get the Marble contracts?

Who will be the Realtors?

Will any of the Above sit on the Root River Council?

Will they be pals of Mayor John Dickert? Will they have given money to his campaigne?

Will M.J.’s be forced to sell out? If so being a Gas Station who will write Grants looking to fund that part of the massive clean up of Machinery Row?

Think of the Millions flowing into to this project IMHO far more then the 60 some odd Million   talked about in the Racine Newspaper

As you know I am worried that like much of what happens in Racine the Good Old boys will be in line to get some for again IMHO I think that this whole project is to enrich them vs do anything good for the vast majority of the City God forbid that Blacks or Hispanics get jobs from this or inner city kids come away with the idea that in the City of Racine opportunity is open to all.

God not that, next someone might want to open a Bar Downtown that might think that a Hip Hop club might do well in that area! That sure would spoil the Image of Racine being for the rich and White! Can’t have that! Keep away all the Boaters from IL that are pounding on the doors of our Mayor demanding Condos overlooking a dredged Root River flowing faster with 6-8 Million Gals of “Treated Sewage” a day from  Waukesha Oh the joys of Development.

Might somehow our Mayor be a paid Consultant or perhaps the Lobbing company he worlks for is and he is getting a commission for that connection?   After all this is Racine!

Do not worry! I too plan to take my place in line for the Gold Rush! I will do so by a film about the links to Lovecraft https://www.facebook.com/pages/Shadow-over-The-Belle-City/358190017678007   and not only selling the film and VOD views but!!  Cool swag!! Charms!  Neat cool T Shirts!

Why not get together with your pals and see what YOU can come up with!

Come on folks its about the Water…. I share my thoughts

But first we have from:

Chinatown

So I was talking to Mr. X on the phone today, not talked to him for sometime and out of the blue he calls

We chatted a bit talk about the RICO Suit then to the point of the phone call that being what the point of the whole Rootworks was: that being as we saw it Control of Sale of WATER!

Mind you, we thought that Machinery Row/TIF 18 could be the largest case of Land Fraud in the History of the State of Wisconsin when all was said and done but that would pale in compassion to the money to be made over the sale of Water from Lake Michigan should Waukesha  be allowed to buy Water from Lake Michigan and then send “Treated Waist back via The Root River

imagesrs2 Treated Sewage?

Right now we are being told that Waukesha will need about 6-10 million Gals a day to just stay the same size and perhaps grow a bit the Water if sent back to Lake Michigan (and the Great Lakes Compact tells us that the water MUST come back) Via the Root Industrial Canal (Formerly the Root River) would generate about 6 Million a year for the Cash Staved city of Racine, then of course, Cities like to grow builders like to build developers like to rip off tax payers I mean develop(I estimate that each year Waukesha loses millions in construction/ taxes until this issues is fixed)   and that mean MORE Water brought from the Lake and treated sewage sent back via   Root Industrial Canal  so perhaps in a few years The City of Racine could get oh 10 Million a year just for allowing this

imagesrs  Treated Sewage?

and then we have this from  http://www.21stcentech.com/water-waukesha-wisconsin-symptom-freshwater-challenge/ :   Waukesha is a symptom of a much larger U.S. problem. And for the signators to the Compact the city may be the thin edge of the wedge. The U.S. mid and southwest, particularly those communities and farmlands that have experienced prolonged recent droughts see the water-rich Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Basin as a prime water resource. Why not divert water from the Basin to population centers like Las Vegas or Phoenix? Why not refill the Ogallala Aquifer with water from the Great Lakes? Why not raise Mississippi River water levels through a diversion canal?

Maybe Racine Under Mayor John Dickert gets a pumping station to start here to pump a few Million to other Cities who need Water maybe to pump the treated sewage back here?

Now Machinery Row costing 68 Million over time political Hacks/Pals of Mayor John Dickert might be able to scam say over time 10% or say 10 Million, but the Water sales Sewage dumping could bring in 6 Million + a year Pipe lines need to go in land may need to be bought etc how much could crooks in Goverment make their pals?

But then there is this from the same Web page …

Poor Waukesha, located in the wrong place when it comes to fighting a water war with the Compact. That’s because Chicago and its waterways which drain into the Illinois River, a tributary of the Mississippi, lie less than an hour to the south. And Chicago has the Asian carp, (seen jumping out of the water on mass in the picture below) an invasive species currently still in the Mississippi watershed that has migrated to within 160 kilometers (100 miles) of the Great Lakes. The Compact, as a result, has become hyper vigilant about any water diversion. Should the Asian carp gain access to the Great Lakes it is seen as having an even more devastating impact than the sea lamprey. And considering how unsuccessful humans have been in stopping alien species from getting to the Great Lakes, there is even greater efforts being put in place to try and succeed just once

So Waukesha is caught in a water war, even though it sits within a state that has a wealth of freshwater. Its application to draw water from Lake Michigan which requires unanimous approval from the governors and premiers of the Compact will likely fail to pass, and Waukesha will have to look elsewhere to solve its water crises

So for now our mayor who got very unhappy news about the RICO case today might be only able to find ways to scam on Machinery Row.

Please keep your eyes open this will be interesting to see go down.

What do you think?

One last thing if indeed the Good Old boys are planing to scam on Root Works and folks get in the way of say a 6 Million+ Pay day what will happen?

Fred Eaton The Killer of the Owens Vally is in the House! (Editorial)

A bit about Fred Eaton from the PBS page on the show called the West: http://www.pbs.org/weta/thewest/people/d_h/eaton.htm

Born in Los Angeles in 1856, into the prominent family that had founded Pasadena, Eaton taught himself engineering and was the superintendent of the Los Angeles City Water Company by age 19. Elected Mayor in 1898, Eaton created the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, and, together with his friend and former employee William Mulholland, advanced the idea of building a gravity-fed aqueduct from the Owens Valley to Los Angeles.

The first obstacle to this plan was the brand-new federal Bureau of Reclamation, which had promised to help the farmers and ranchers of Owens Valley improve their irrigation system. Eaton pulled strings in California and even traveled to Washington to meet with advisers to the conservation-minded President Theodore Roosevelt and convince them that the Owens River would yield a greater bounty flowing from Los Angeles faucets than into Owens Valley orchards and fields. The Bureau of Reclamation project was cancelled.

Next Eaton went to the Owens Valley and began buying up water rights and land options. Never opposed to mixing public service with private gain, Eaton also purchased large parcels of Owens Valley land for himself, with the hope that he would become rich when the city of Los Angeles had to buy his land to complete the project.

and a bit more http://www.biographybase.com/biography/Eaton_Fred.html

Eaton used inside information from the Aqueduct project to enrich himself and his friends at the expense of the City of Los Angeles and other landowners. See California Water Wars for more information. Eventually, his demands became so great that they ruptured his relationship with Mulholland. Eaton wanted a million dollars for some land needed by Mulholland to build a dam reservoir. Mulholland refused to buy and relocated the dam. This relocated dam was the St. Francis Dam, which soon collapsed, killing many people.

and what happed to the Farm Land becuse of IMHO the great rip off of the Water from this area to LA?

In spite of protests from valley farmers and ranchers, Los Angeles completed the first aqueduct from the valley to Los Angeles in 1913 and filled it with reductions in irrigation and, more effectively, by diverting the lower Owens River to the aqueduct. LADWP continued to acquire land and water rights as valley farmers gave up their dead and dying crops and orchards and moved.

By 1924, Owens Lake and approximately fifty miles of the Owens River were dry. By the 1930s, Los Angeles owned approximately 95 percent of all farm and ranch land in the valley….”

Here is what it looks like today once green fields now this

To the Post.

IMHO I think I understand the rush to get RootWorks passed as a City of Racine plan and a few wink wink nudge nudge deals going on in the City of Racine.

As I see it, Mayor Dickert needs the water deal with Waukesha just as fast as he can make this happen.  The 4-8 Million a year Racine would get would go  to pay for the Black Hole that called Racine.

This amount would be about 10% of the City budget Last year 2012 City Budget was 47,186,932

however the City said it would spend 81,729,249  Oh the games the City plays with numbers.

See Mayor John Dickert needs to find every Dime he can

Now should Waukesha go with Racine vs Milwaukee or Oak Creak it still have a long ways to go before any work get started but Mayor Dickert knows its going to be a fight to head off part of the fight was a deal made to say The Root River Council that for this groups backing for a water sales plan they (Root River Council)  would get City help in getting EPA/State of Wisconsin Grants and part of any fees Racine would get goes to fund some aspect of the Root River plan called RootWorks?

Has a “deal” been made for the backing of the Root River Council for selling the Water out of Lake Michigan? If so how much did they get for selling their soul? Guess that’s a money trail that must get followed.

Knowing that even with Walker in charge in Madison that having a State Senator/Assemblyman on his side to help get more $, State backing, and /or DNR approval for the Water sale did that motivate the games played with Voting issues in Racine and the retirement of Rep. Turner?

The Money the City of Racine get for selling  the water from Lake Michigan is just a small part of the Gold coming if we get this deal think of the land that may have to be bought/leased for the pipeline for the Water going to  Waukesha. Think of the contracts for the work think of the games that could be played in this alone! Minority set asides, training programs for youth.  The “oversight” needed money and power galore!

Oh has Racine not been sued via the NSP program for contact issues and Minority contacting issues?

Boy this whole Water sales issue if far greater then I ever thought.

Root River Goes to Sewage?

So I went to my first meeting of the Waterworks Commission yesterday. I did so because with the focus of Mayor John Dickert to sell water from Lake Michigan to Waukesha even though this would becuse of the Great Lakes Compact to replace Water from Lake Michigan with “Treated” sewage from Waukesha. This sewage as I understand it would come down the Root River yes Sewage in the Root River perhaps looking like this

Yum! Lets go boating or swimming now!

Last night meeting was interesting. Went fast the members had read the agenda (Unlike what goes on at say the City Cable Commission). Overall I was impressed whit how it was run.

Mayor Dickert was there as a member but did not run the meeting. The Mayor also did not make motions he may have seconded  some no issues with that.

I taped the Audio of the meeting and plan to tape the Audio of all the meeting of the Waterworks commission with what is being proposed by the City of Racine to sell water to Waukesha and get  “treated” sewage in return is so critical because  the Good old boys want this done andd as  I see it will do anything to make it so. Why?

Easy, all about the money.  Lets look at what the Water might bring in If I understand right Waukesha might need 5 MILLION gallons a day and  lets say we charge only .05 per 1000 gallons that’s $2500 per day  about 900,000 a year. I am sure that there will be fees and other charges Racine see over 1 million a year in income for the City of Racine easy if not more.

Think of the land that may have to be bought or rights leased to run pipes under/over. How many millions will that cost? What FOJ (Friend of John) might be used for that  sweat part of the deal?

Think about the engineering and the creation of the system. How much money will that be who might benefit  from that part of the contact? How much might that cost.

How many Millions will this selling of Water cost us? Who might see a lot of funds come into their hands?  Can we trust Mayor John Dicket to keep our Water clean? Please recall the Lead issues in some of the Homes in Racine’s NSP program.

Now I have been assured that the Sewage will be treated and all will be well then I recall this:

http://mediatrackers.org/2012/05/30/politically-toxic-tom-barrett-and-the-metropolitan-milwaukee-sewerage-district/   only 170 MILLION gallons of Raw Sewage dumped last year into Lake Michigan by the Green Mayor of Milwaukee in 2011. So what might we look at here if some act of God would dump sewage into the Root River?  1 Million Gallons? 2 Million?  What woult that do to the homes along the River? What might that do to North Beach?  Are you willing to take a chance?

In the posts to come lets look at the money

Water Sales

We are now at a time that The City of Racine under the infamous Mayor John “the man who destroyed Racine” Dickert, is thinking if not planing to sell Water from Lake Michigan outside the Watershed.
This news is getting little coverage from the local paper. Few if any members of the public understands how this plan might work, the engineering needed , or the cost both economic or environmental. With Mayor John Dickert’s history with projects like Racine’s Neighborhood Stabilization    Program (3-4 Court Cases lead and other issues in the rehabbed homes) and his past real estate deals before he was Mayor IMHO we need to pay close attention.

So if the paper will not cover this I  will. After all would you not like to know and have a say if the idea to put “treated” Sewage down the Root River? Do YOU trust the City of Racine not to potently  have shit float down this river  into Lake Michigan?

There are a lot of hoops to jump before this happens I hope to go to the open meetings and report back here.

You should expect a call for action to stop any Water sales outside the Watershed. Oh we also have to keep our eyes open for any try to bottle Lake Michigan Water
